From Amsterdam Coffeeshop Culture to the Costa del Sol
Cannabis Club Fuengirola was founded from a deep passion for cannabis culture, community, and the authentic Dutch coffeeshop experience.
Our story began in Amsterdam in 2003, when our father, Marco van Dijk, opened Green Leaf Amsterdam, a traditional Dutch coffeeshop known for its relaxed atmosphere, premium cannabis culture, and welcoming social environment. Over the years, Green Leaf became a place where locals and international visitors could experience the true spirit of Amsterdam cannabis culture.
Growing up around the coffeeshop industry gave us a strong connection to cannabis culture from an early age. We learned that cannabis is not only about products, but also about community, creativity, relaxation, and bringing people together in a respectful environment.
In 2018, we — Daniel van Dijk and Sophie van Dijk — decided to continue our family journey by opening Cannabis Club Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol. As the second generation, our goal was to create a modern private cannabis social club in Spain while staying connected to our Dutch roots and traditional coffeeshop values.
We wanted to build a relaxed members-only environment where adults could enjoy cannabis culture privately, comfortably, and responsibly within the framework of Spanish private association laws.
Today, Cannabis Club Fuengirola combines modern lounge culture with the welcoming atmosphere that inspired us in Amsterdam many years ago.

We focus on community, hospitality, and responsible private cannabis culture while respecting Spanish laws and private association principles. Our goal is to provide members with a relaxing atmosphere that combines Dutch coffeeshop inspiration with the lifestyle of the Costa del Sol.
Cannabis Club Fuengirola was created to give back to the cannabis community by building a private social space where people can connect, relax, and enjoy cannabis culture responsibly.
